Description

120,000 square feet, four stories, multiple laboratories, classrooms, and office spaces. The scope included plumbing on Life Science Building plus Regional Energy Plant addition of 1500 ton capacity centrifugal chiller and cooling tower. Opened to public November 2021.

Project Highlights

  • Installation of laboratory gases to include oxygen, nitrogen, compress air, vacuum air.

  • Plumbing systems piping included HW, CW, acid waste, wastewater, and de-ionization.

  • Equipment installed: gas water heaters, air compressors, vacuum pumps, and circulating pumps, plus hundreds of fixtures including emergency eye wash stations, toilets, lavatories, and showers.

  • Regional Energy Plant addition included adding 1500-ton capacity centrifugal chiller and matching cooling tower to support campus infrastructure.
