Preconstruction is the time to thoroughly assess and plan to mitigate risks associated with a project, including evaluation of the construction site, permit and inspection requirements, and any other special situations that need to be resolved before or during construction.
Preconstruction
Preconstruction services are key to the success of any SPC Mechanical project. Early involvement allows the preconstruction team time to evaluate project scope, costs and constructability issues.
What is preconstruction?
Who is involved?
We provide input from the design drawings as well as the specifications to the MEP consultant(s), so that the final set of documents are complete without any scope gaps. At SPC Mechanical, our preconstruction team includes Estimator(s), Project Manager(s) and Superintendent(s), which are reviewing all documents including costs and providing input to the schedule, planning manpower requirements, identifying long-lead items and determining prefabrication opportunities.
